Marketing Waffle

I have actually just heard a yoghurt described as having a “hunger control formula”. Now seriously what was the advertising agency thinking when they created such waffle? In an age when digital communications have made consumers savy to what a product really is, what it can do, what it can’t do, why we should buy it, or why we shouldn’t – why on earth do above the line ad agencies think they can get away with such dribble? You’re either hungry -or you’re not!
